New ReviewerWe have a 2015 Ford Explorer, after tons of calls we agree to extend the warranty of our car, so we got the premium care. We are paying 130 dollars every month.
We went today to fix the brakes and the dealer told us that brakes are not covered and we will need to pay a total of 600 for the job. Our warranty says it will cover brakes but they told us we were wrong. Even without the warranty ...Please 600 dollar is ridiculous comparing to the prices they gave us in other mechanics. Worst !!!
Ford you are the worst! I will fight this and cancel the stupid warranty and write reviews everywhere so I can let people know what a waste thus extended warranties are.
Reason of review: Bad quality.

Brakes are a wear and tear item. No Warranty will cover wear and tear.
read the terms of premiumCare, they cover non-friction items, "(except for friction components)" ...so pads are out, rotors too. No coverage.
Sure you are dumb as a rock. brakes have never been, nor ever will be, warranty items by any manufacturer. Just like oil changes wont be "warranty" it's considered routine maintenance.
I actually have a brochure that I received this past week and brakes are named as included along with "engine, transmission, rear-wheel-drive axle, front-wheel-drive axle, steering, front and rear suspension, electrical, air conditioning and heating, high-tech, emissions, audio, and safety" in the PremiumCARE plan. Now, if the original poster did not opt into this level of coverage, it's possible they misunderstood what was actually covered.
Haha James yes brake components other then brake pads lol, should they start opting to warranty your, oil change, windshield wipers, tires, filters, fluids, hey why y'all are at it go tell them your car has a premium warranty and you car ate your gas, demand it be replaced haha. This is essentially what you are asking them to do by not paying for your break pads that you used.
Yes. I had the premium care plan.
I actually got my money back after fighting for two months. It is illegal to promote or offer services in a pamphlet, make people pay for it, and then lie about it. The "brake issue" that cover was actually in the papers I signed when I bought the plan. Anyway, I got my money, now I have a great mechanic.
I gave my review and if people don't want to listen then go and waste your money. I did my part!
